JL WINE
1989-1999 James & Janet Luxton first established a small 
winery/vineyard & gallery in the Lower Hunter - Undercliff - and operated successfully for ten years, then operated JL Etching, a studio/galley in Paddington for 5 years.
2006-2011 Adelaide Hills SA . Designed built & operated rammed earth winery. 2008-2011 JL produced a Riesling & Shiraz. These wines reflect regional characters with good flavour, balance & structure. 2010 was the first vintage of Uva Apiana, aromatic, distinctive & delicious- Grape of the Bees. The labels are screen printed using new techniques enabling the design to circle the bottle. The Vino-lok glass closures and bottles are reusable and chosen to preserve pure fresh flavours & prevent cork taint, an elegant package that reflects the wine. Very limited quantities were produced with all the winemaking completed by the proprietors.
